I recorded this pretty much entirely on a small outdoor patio six stories above the Atlantic ocean in Pompano Beach, Florida. This was over the course of a few weeks in February and March of 2015, while Elizabeth and I were escaping the Chicago winter. The piano was recorded 'in secret' late at night, because it was in the lobby of the apartment building. Elizabeth sings a bit on the title track as well.

Sloop John B is an old folk song made popular by The Beach Boys. Elizabeth Neurauter sings on the chorus of 'Fun In The Sun', and also took the album cover photo.
